Tom Vicknair

Tom Vicknair recently founded Vicknair Consulting, LLC and Vicknair Solutions Group, LLC after retiring from JPMorgan Chase Bank where he was Manager of the Payment Strategy Group within JPMorgan Chase’s Centralized Technology Operations organization. Bringing practiced knowledge and insight into the bank technology and payments industry, Tom worked closely with CTO managers in developing plans to meet the organizational objectives of maintaining service excellence through merger integration, high-performance culture, and financial improvement initiatives. Working collaboratively with the bank’s business and technical leaders, Vicknair was focused on continuing JPMorgan Chase’s innovation and leadership in the payments industry.

In his +35-year career, Tom has held several executive and leadership positions in bank operations, technology and the payments industry, overseeing dramatic technology changes and merger consolidations.

Tom’s leadership experience as a bank technology & operations executive is complimented by his past role with Viewpointe Archive Services - a multi-bank joint venture he helped found. At Viewpointe, he served as CIO/COO, leading the startup efforts that established the company as the leading provider of check image storage and exchange services to the Nation’s leading financial institutions.

Prior to joining Viewpointe, Tom served as Senior Vice President for JPMorgan Chase, serving as the Chief Technology Officer for Enterprise Operating Services. In this role, he was responsible for the development of leading-edge technology for bank operations. Most notably, he led the management team responsible for the Enterprise Check Re-Engineering Project and the merger of the Chemical and Chase Check Operations. Tom was Executive Vice President and CTO of Texas Commerce Bank when it was acquired by Chemical Bank. Tom joined BankOne in 2002 and rejoined JPMorgan Chase with the merger.

Tom serves on the board for the Financial Services Technology Consortium, leveraging his payments knowledge and long-standing industry contacts.

Tom is a Catholic Deacon and is currently assigned to Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in The Woodlands, Texas. He also serves on the board of the Companions of the Cross of Texas.

Tom was a member of the Corp of Cadets at Texas A&M University. He also attended Lamar University, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics. He is married, has two children, six grandchildren, and resides in The Woodlands, Texas.

Bob DeLeeuw

Bob DeLeeuw has over two decades experience in banking and consulting. As president and CEO of DeLeeuw Associates, which he founded in 1991, he has managed and supported some of the largest merger projects in the history of the financial services industry and has implemented numerous large-scale business and process change programs for his clients, including companies like Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Citicorp, Invesco, TRowePrice, Fidellity Investments, Wachovia and many others.

Bob sold DeLeeuw Associates to Conversion Services International in 2004, where he served as senior vice president of strategic consulting and built CSI's strategic management consulting practice.

In 2007, Bob founded BDCG to respond to major shifts facing the financial services industry — working with only those people and organizations who share the vision and commitment of providing the highest quality consulting services to clients. DeLeeuw has spoken at numerous banking industry conferences including the Bank Administration Institute, Mortgage Banking and other industry conferences. He has been published in numerous articles including American Banker, Mortgage Banking Magazine, The Journal of Consumer Lending, and Bank Technology News, where he has also served as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board.

Bob received a bachelor’s degree from Rider University, and holds a master’s degree in management from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Spence Stephens

Partner and Chief Administrative Officer
Vicknair Solutions Group

Spence has a broad range of strategic and business planning and product management experience in infrastructure technology and operations within the top-tier banking and technology start-up industries.

As a corporate and business planning strategist, Mr. Stephens has advised senior executives in defining and deploying long-range and tactical business strategies that impact revenue growth and profit margins. His strategies, direction and management have resulted in significant revenue growth and cost savings.
Spences’ expertise includes strategic planning, business case development and analysis, strategy program management, product management, strategic partnerships, marketing, and development of strategic IT infrastructures. He works with internal and external business partners in identifying potential strategic opportunities for collaboration and business development.

Prior to joining Vicknair Solutions Group, Spence served as Vice President of strategic and business planning in payments technology for JPMorgan Chase and as Strategic Planner and Product Manager for Viewpointe Archive Services.

Mr. Stephens received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and Masters degree from Rice University.
